★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing kakigori ice-cream! They used natural ice from mountains. Kakigori is made of few layers with delicious ingredients. Strawberry and maccha kakigori are most delicious. Definitely one of my favourite kakigori places. Been here a bunch of times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a bike for 1hr at 400 yen. That was enough time to go around the Eastern corner of Lake Kawaguchi, making a circle from the rental shop, across the large bridge, and back again. There is a trail next to the water pretty much all around the lake.
I would recommend going counter-clockwise so that you get to see Mt. Fuji in front of you when you cross the bridge. Beautiful view.
There is space on the bridge for pedestrians and bikers so don't worry about having to ride with traffic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place works as both a boat and a bike rental place. The bikes are close to trash! Dangerously keept. Every part you can imagine of a normal bike doesn't work or is poorly kept. Most don't have front lights, breaks or even minimal balance by itself. The service itself is terrible too, non trained staff and not helpful at all. Quite expensive for my taste, 400¥ per hour, double the price I payed on other towns if Japan. There are other better ones in near roads. Look more people! Will be worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Charged ¥1000 extra for being a few minutes late, despite the rental prices already being very high (¥2600/day for an electric bicycle, must be returned by 17:00). Also, the condition of the bicycles is not so good. My bicycle made a loud grating noise the entire time I rode it.
