★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 徳川光圀公が吉田城跡(～鎌倉時代)に建立した由緒あるお寺です。鬱蒼とした石畳の参道を歩き、門をくぐると、春はみごとな枝垂れ桜が迎えてくれます。静かで心が落ち着きます。

長いメイン通路が厳かで、苔が良い感じに繁っていました。
お盆の初日は駐車場が混むので朝6:30に到着。それでも結構車が埋まっていました。
この時期車でご利用される方は、駐車場が少ないので、朝早く出られることをお勧め致します。

お寺脇には沼が有りきれいに舗装された道も有りお散歩にもいいと思います。
