★ ★ ★ ★ ★ さすが臨済宗の総本山、建物もお庭も立派でした。
中庭の三尊石が見事です。建物内部には、意外にもモダンな襖絵があったりして、伝統的なもの・形式的なものだけではなく、新しい文化も自然に共存させているところに好感が持てました。
俵屋宗達の風神雷神図屏風(複製)も見られます。
As expected, the head temple of the Rinzai sect, the building and the garden were splendid.
The three stones in the courtyard are wonderful. Surprisingly, there are modern fusuma paintings inside the building, and I was impressed by the natural coexistence of new culture as well as traditional and formal ones.
You can also see the wind god and thunder god folding screen (reproduction) of Tawaraya Sotatsu.
