秘湯です。 源泉は木賊温泉(とくさおんせんと読みます笑笑)になります。4組しか泊まれません。2人でも一組、10人でも一組です。
It is a secret hot spring. The source is the Kibishi Onsen (read as Tokusao Sen). Only 4 groups can stay. Two people can be one group, and ten people can be one group.

ご近所さんで小さい頃からお世話になっている岩魚専門のお魚屋さん。 岩魚の塩焼き、岩魚の刺身、岩魚の骨酒どれも最高級品です。 個人的にはお刺身が好きで、帰省した際は必ず食べています。 独特の味と風味とコリコリした食感はたまりません。

浜の人間達のせいで閉店してしまった民宿もあるのに、福本屋さんは頑張ってるとおもいます。 久しぶりに行ったけど、イワナの刺身は本当に美味しかった。しかも、次々料理が来るので食べるのがおいつかなかった。(笑)美味しかったのでまたいきます。

8,000円台でイワナ尽くしの料理を楽しめます。イワナのみでも 塩焼き×2(中大),骨煎餅,刺身(大半身,肝“絶品”),タタキ(大半身),卵+山芋,空揚げ(小),吸い物(背骨の出汁),甘露煮(朝食)となり、食事内容には満足できると思います。部屋は普通の民宿レベル お風呂は、入替え制の単純泉の内風呂となります。食事を楽しんでお酒を飲んで直ぐに就寝し朝早く尾瀬に向かう等の使い方をなさるのが吉だと思います。

初めて木賊温泉にある福本屋さんを訪ねてから早いもので25年が経ちました。今回も食事と宿泊でお世話になりました。 ここ南会津町エリアは、昔に比べるとトンネルを含む道路や河川も、また地域の環境もかなり整備されて、気軽に訪れやすくなりました。 しかしながら、昔と変わらない木賊温泉のひなびた味わいと、舘岩村の人々の温かい人情味溢れる雰囲気は、都会の喧騒に疲れた我々にはたまらない癒しが有ります。 河原の共同浴場である露天風呂と同じような岩風呂を、自分の民宿の横に作ってしまった福本屋の主の心意気にも打たれます。 湯船に二ヶ所からお湯が流れ込む注ぎ口の本物の竹は、毎年新しい竹に付け替えているそうです。 お料理は岩魚のフルコース。塩焼きの岩魚とゆず味噌を塗った岩魚焼き。季節の山菜の天ぷら。大型岩魚の脂ののった刺身。岩魚のたたき。岩魚のフライ。鹿肉の汁物。おばあちゃん手作りのとちもち等々お腹いっぱいになります。 おすすめのお酒は、2日ほど干した岩魚を囲炉裏の炭火で芳ばしく炙り、熱燗に浸していただく「岩魚の骨酒」が美味しくてたまりません。今回も二人で地元の銘酒花泉を一升飲んでしまいました。 美しい月明かりのなか遠くに聞こえる川のせせらぎと虫の声しか聞こえない静かな世界があるのです。 早朝は暗いうちから、河原の露天風呂と宿の岩風呂を堪能して、山で採れたシンプルですが美味しいおかずで朝ごはんをいただいて、名残惜しくも帰路につきました。 またお邪魔したい素敵な場所です。

15年ほど毎年お世話になっています。最初は先代のおじさんが元気で、母屋は茅葺きでした。代替わりした今も、おかみさんと娘さんたちがしっかり宿を守っておられます。イワナ料理のフルコースを囲炉裏端でいただきます。宿の裏手で、山の湧き水で育てたイワナと、季節の山菜、近くの畑で穫れた野菜や手作りのお漬物、そして何よりイワナの骨酒が最高においしいです。有名な木賊温泉の川沿いの岩風呂にも歩いていけ、内風呂も温泉で24時間入れます。

浜の人間達がいなくなってやっと通常営業できたようです。よかったです。 20年ぶりに行きましたが、やはり、イワナの刺身は絶品ですね。焼いたイワナも美味しかったです。他の民宿は浜の人間達の対応で疲れ切ってしまい閉店してしまったところもあるようですが、福本屋さんは頑張ってほしいです。また行きたいです。

まさに民宿。目玉は養殖しているイワナ料理。普通食べられない刺身や肝も。イワナが好きならそれだけで泊まる価値あり。 内風呂も気持ち良いし、囲炉裏を囲んでの食事も楽しい。
