The dinner and the breakfast were soso.
The hot springs are were nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All you can eat dinner and breakfast plus the overnight stay is an amazing deal for the price!! The room was spacious and cozy. The women's baths are slightly bigger than the men's. Would definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overall good place. The rooms were a little old but well maintained. Buffet was great for dinner mostly and you need to wear a mask and gloves during the food retrieval.
May need to speak Japanese though as all the signs for the most part were in Japanese.
No wifi though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oedo Onsen Monogatari is supposed to be a large group of decent to excellent quality hotels.
I came, shocked, that the room in my hotel was not close to that caliber. The 和洋 room was large as advertised with a beautiful view of the river. However, that was not the first thing I noticed. It was a smell. More than the fact that room is on a smoking floor, which was not advertised, but the smell of water damage. Which was visibly noticeable near the door with decaying carpet down to the base fibers.
The breakfast and dinner included for two nights were okay, very hit and miss. 冷奴 is subpar with もめん豆腐.
Great tsukemono, and great fish.
French toast was a horror. Completely soaked, thin sliced bread, lightly cooked on the outside is not French toast.
No separation of two to four seat tables near the window, and it is considered free seating.
Unfortunately, you have to give up your meal ticket BEFORE you find out how busy the place is.
The service was great. Staff that we talked with were wonderful, prompt, and helpful.
This hotel is in need of a major renewal, and should not be charging for a room so dilapidated. Do not trust the photos of the outside of the building, and do NOT stay in room 857.
