A shrine that I have been visiting since I was little. In September, stalls will appear and it will be lively, but recently the area around the pond has not been properly maintained. Also known as Hatono Shrine, Hatonomori and Omikuji are sold. Previously, pigeon-shaped rice cakes were sold, but are they now sold?

In addition, it will take some time to write the red stamp directly because it has an illustration! I've been waiting the longest! Illustrations will be included!

I lived in the neighborhood until a few years ago, so I was asked to draw water. It is the valley water of Mt. Hiei. Also, I like the garden where I sit in a chair in front of the pond and see it because of its natural depth. How artificial is it? You can feel the atmosphere of each season due to the difference in sky, plants and light.

Known as "Mushihachiman" The nearest station is Hachiman-mae Station on the Eizan Kurama Line, further north of Demachiyanagi. As far as you can see the map, you may walk a little from Miyakehachiman Station on the Eizan Electric Railway Main Line. There is a parking lot on the left side of the torii gate. If you are not a worshiper, you will be charged, but you can stop. I don't have much capacity This is the first time I've seen a guardian pigeon that isn't a guardian dog, or the only one Here, as a benefit, not only the above-mentioned pest control As a guardian deity of children, "sealing insects", "healing children's illness", "no night", "achievement of schoolwork" There seems to be a lot of bibs dedicated to the main shrine

Komabato is a landmark (the pigeon is considered to be a messenger of the god). It is said to be the guardian deity of the health and growth of children. The maple leaves were beautiful, but it wasn't a tourist attraction, but it was a pretty place.

It is worshiped as a guardian deity of children, and is said to have the benefits of crying at night, sealing insects, and relieving illness. A guardian pigeon, not a guardian dog, will welcome you. In addition, the 121 votive tablets found in the votive tablet are designated as an important tangible folk cultural property of the country. You can recognize the pigeon by hand-painting it carefully on the red stamp.

Within walking distance of Yahata Station on the Eizan Electric Railway Kurama Line. It is a company derived from the fact that Ono no Imoko was solicited for Usa Jingu during the time of Emperor Suiko, whose deity was Emperor Ojin. I'm collecting. There is also a well donated by Danjuro Ichikawa, the 9th generation, who was said to be a drama in the precincts. The pigeon mochi, which is shaped like a pigeon used by Mr. Yawata, sold in the precincts of this area is famous as a specialty confectionery. There is a parking lot, and you can get the red stamp at the office.

Miyake Hachimangu Shrine 三宅八幡宮 : Miyake Hachimangu Shrine’s deity has a connection with Ono no Imoko who has established this shrine. This shrine is commonly called “Mushi-Hachiman-san” by some locals in thios area. This diety is well known for its benefit of relieving convulsions that affect children. Its legend goes that he once became sick but cured after praying at Usa Hachimangu Shrine in Oita Prefecture and his series of achevements continued afterwards. So he later made his request to transfer the deity of the shrine to the present location in order to express his gratitude. This area is also known as a place where Ono clan resided in the past. This shrine is known for its guardian deity for children and its benefit of relieving the convulsions in children. In another way also known for its power to provide protection against harmful insects. Ono no Imoko was a Japanese politician and diplomat in the late 6th and early 7th century, during the Asuka period. Ono was appointed by Empress Suiko as an official envoy (Kenzuishi) to the Sui court in 607 (Imperial embassies to China), and he delivered the famous letter from Japan's Prince Shotoku. Ono no Imoko's family was notable for linguistics and scholarship, and the descendants of the family include Ono no Komachi who was a beautiful female poet. This shrine is also known as a play ground of doves. Pigeons are thought to be the messenger of the shrine deity. You can see many kinds of pigeons (stone statue pegion, wooden votive tablet, etc.) in the precinct. These cute souvenir lucky charms are sold. They wear gold necklace on their neck. One on the left is a male dove and the other one on the right is the female. This place also provide nice Sakura view in spring and fall foliage in autumn. They hold a large festival on 14th and 15th in September. There is a nice pond with a fountain built on the side of a small mountain. In the pricinct : spacious ground space with beautiful landscape surrounded in nature full of green. There is a pond withnatural waterfall as this shrine is a point where the mountainous water flow through. This type of landscape formation is called " shakkei = Borrowed landscape " which makes perfect harmony with surrounding nature. ( Trans-word+ : TGM Kyoto Guide )
