三縁寺は池田屋騒動で殺害された、勤王派の志士を埋葬したお寺ですが、三条京阪開発事業で、三縁寺は立ち退きを承諾して岩倉移転をしました。
昭和五十四年(１９７９)六月に三縁寺が岩倉に移転する際に、旧墓地内の志士の遺骨も発掘され、岩倉の新墓地に改葬されました。

Sanenji Temple is a temple where Buddhist samurai who were killed in the Ikedaya riot were buried, but Sanenji Temple moved to Iwakura after accepting the evacuation due to the Sanjo Keihan Development Project.
When Sanen-ji Temple moved to Iwakura in June 1979, the remains of the Shishi in the old cemetery were excavated and reburied in a new graveyard in Iwakura.

(*現地にはその旨を記した石碑が建っています. 2016年初夏にKYOUENという商業施設がなくなり三条京阪の地上部分はほぼすべて駐車場になりましたが, 石碑は変わらず存在しています?)
A temple known for having tombs for those who died in the Ikedaya incident. Originally existed around Sanjo Keihan *, but it was said that the whole grave was moved to this place in 1979.

(* There is a stone monument stating that in the locality. In early summer 2016, the commercial facility called KYOUEN disappeared and almost the ground part of Sanjo Keihan became a parking lot, but the stone monument still exists ?)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 法事で行きました。今は本堂に入る人数制限がある為ウチの場合は5人だけで親戚が持ち寄ったお供えもできずお墓で待つことになりました。
I went by a litigation. Since there is a limit to the number of people who can enter the main hall now, in the case of our house, we had to wait at the grave because we couldn't offer the offerings brought by our relatives.
