榛	榛原根雨 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 名古屋を除いた愛知では豊橋市、豊田市、岡崎市、春日井市、小牧市と並ぶ中堅都市の一つで名岐間の中間に有る為東海、中京都市圏の中では重要な駅の1つ。JRも名鉄も全ての列車が停車する。 JRは"尾張一宮"と名乗る為名鉄は"名鉄一宮"で区別して居る。若干田舎では有るが福山、明石や岐阜駅とは駅周辺も含めた雰囲気はよく似て居る。名古屋本線の本数は当然ながら多い物の尾西線は奥町、玉ノ井方面、森上、津島方面で分断されている上、ワンマン普通のみの設定、時間帯によってそれぞれの方面の発着が変わる為非常に利用しずらいのが最大の難点で有る。 JRの新快速や特別快速、名鉄の快速特急や特急は岐阜、名古屋、岡崎、豊橋まで競合して居ます。又岐阜方面に羽島と案内して有りますが竹鼻線は笠松より先の発着は無い(ワンマン普通のみの折り返し運転)ので当駅発着の新羽島行は有りませんのでそこも注意が必要です。 In Aichi, excluding Nagoya, it is one of the mid-sized cities along with Toyohashi City, Toyota City, Okazaki City, Kasugai City, and Komaki City, and is one of the important stations in the Tokai and Naka Kyoto metropolitan areas because it is located in the middle of the Meiki area. S	Scott Combs on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked this station. It can be reached by meitetsu or Jr trains. The staff were super helpful to me when I had questions. There are so many shops to help get you what you need. Its located near the big temple in the area and lots of other fun shops too.
