★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 台風で一度急遽降りたことがあるだけの駅です。ただ、駅周りは高層マンションが多く商業施設もあります。結構栄えてる町なんですね。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 稲沢市の中心駅だが、市役所からは4km以上離れておりとても歩ける距離ではない。
バスの本数も絶望的に少ない。
市役所とその周辺に用がある人は必ず名鉄｢国府宮｣駅を利用すること。
Although it is the central station of Inazawa city, it is more than 4km away from the city hall and it is not a very walking distance.
The number of buses is also hopelessly small.
If you have a business in or around the city hall, be sure to use the Meitetsu "Konomiya" station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 窓口で新幹線きっぷを複数回買ったのですが丁寧の度を過ぎて後ろに列が出来てしまうことがありました。もちろんミスがあってはいけないのですが、一世を風靡した戦場カメラマンさんばりのスローペースだったため隠しカメラないよね？って感じで心配になりました。素早い方もちゃんとみえます。
I bought Shinkansen tickets multiple times at the counter, but sometimes I was too polite and there was a line behind me. Of course, you shouldn't make any mistakes, but since it was the slow pace of the battlefield photographer who prevailed in the world, there is no hidden camera, right? I was worried about it. Even quick ones can be seen properly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 初めて降りましたが、比較的大きい駅ですね。周辺を見てみるとパチンコ屋が近くにあるくらい？少し歩きますが、居酒屋が並んだ歓楽街があります。コロナ前までは盛り上がっていたことでしょう。通勤、通学には不便そう。
I got off for the first time, but it's a relatively large station. Looking around, is there a pachinko parlor nearby? I walk a little, but there is an entertainment district lined with taverns. It would have been exciting before Corona. It seems inconvenient for commuting to work or school.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 一昔前は快速が日中毎時２本停車してましたが、名鉄が国府宮に特急を停めたあたりから無くなりましたね。
駅舎の屋根は東京ドームと同じ素材なんですかね？
操車場の有った頃は『鉄道の街』として栄えてたみたいですが、所々に名残が見えます。
