★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really affordable good price Omakase. Good ingredients and very fresh. 6000Yen for more than 20+ sushi. But quite full of tourists I don’t see many local Japanese. Do not eat anything before u come here! I came with an empty stomach but nearly crawled out. Good n worth $ but wouldn’t say the best one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is located in a small hole in the basement of a large building on a floor with other eateries. Although small, you'll get quite a large set of sushi for your meal. There was just one plate after another. Meal was 6000 yen which was amazing for the quality and variety and sheer number of courses we were served. Highly recommend for great sushi when visiting Tokyo. Reservations aren't required but the day we went, the restaurant was fully booked

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sushi Omakase is a MUST-EAT in Japan! it is the best way to taste high quality sushi made with best ingredients in season.
Manten Sushi's lunch omakase is only 3000yen (6000yen if you reserve online, which you will get a slightly different menu), it's exceptional value and really high quality ingredients/sushi.
We went on a week day at 11:45 so we just missed the first sitting (they open at 11:00). We queued for less than an hour and it's totally worth it!
Each course is carefully prepared and served to us by the Chef, he speak English very well and explained to us what each course was. All the courses are seasoned (with soy sauce, yuzu etc.) so there is no need for dipping any sauce. We enjoyed every single course especially the sea urchin, salmon roe and tuna.
Highly recommend!

Delicious servings of sushi served one at a time - the chef was very friendly and explained each item in English. Our top sushi spot in Tokyo - we enjoyed every last bite.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing sushi that's truly bang for buck; Manten Sushi offers Omakase-only sushi dinners at 6000 yen per person pre-tax! Yes, that's including sake! Make sure you make a reservation online because they're super packed even on a Monday night.
There must have been around 30 courses and I was soooo full towards the last few courses that I secretly hoped they'd stop coming. Every single ingredient they used were very fresh; I did not expect any less from a place with such high praises. Pricier pieces like uni and ootoro were also included in the meal which is really nice considering the cost.
I loved trying new fish I never tried before. It was my first time trying Shirako and I was amazed by the richness of the flavor. Seriously, don't be afraid to try questionable-looking dishes because you might never get the chance to again!
The people working here are also super nice. The English level here is higher than average in my opinion.
If you are looking for a good sushi dinner and want to spend less than $100, this is definitely the place for you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Look for it downstairs. Interesting spot, would give it a 4.4 * rating but only 4 stars wouldn’t do it justice. Lunch set menu (Omakase is the only option) was very good, fresh ingredients, seems like a very reknown place for the business crowd in the area. Decent price for value: about 7 500 yen for 2 with a little sake for lunch time. Expect twice the price for a dinner set.

Be ready to fill your belly because for this price you get 10 pieces of sushi, 1 hand roll and a few other side dishes (including scallop and abalone). If you want a great omakase experience without having to break your bank, you’ve come to the right place.
