I had the best ham and cheese croissant I’ve ever eaten here. I can only describe it as decadent. The citron cheesecake was unbelievably rich and creamy too. The ice coffee was good. Service was a bit strange. You can only order cakes and drinks upstairs, everything else - bread etc, must be ordered downstairs first then brought upstairs. If you cannot speak Japanese that may end up in an awkward situation. I’d suggest they display this clearly in English to avoid any confusion. Other than that, I highly recommend this place.

This place is definitely a baby-kid friendly cafe. It wasn’t crowded for a weekend lunch.

Authentic French cafe. Every lunch menu served with lots kind of French bread and tapenade. Bread is all-you-can-eat. I chosen salad plate. It was high quality as most restaurants. and Look at those chairs! Interiors are perfect too!

Went on a weekend and wasn't too crowded! They have so many varieties of pastries... loved the croissants and the tartes. The baguettes were very good too. They also offer tea as refreshments... the concept of seeing all the action happening is great...as you can enjoy viewing the process. The second floor is a cafe- there is an elevator outside you can take to go up as an alternative to the stairs inside.

Delicious cakes and seasonal drinks. You can buy bread downstairs and sit in the table upstairs too. Friendly staff!

So while there been a lot of posts already, this is my new favorite bakery in Kichijoji. It’s still hard to get a decent rye bread and baguette in Tokyo, and is definitely one of my favorites. For now it’s City bakery or this place. Cakes are not as great though, and I have yet to check out the restaurant upstairs. There are so many bakeries around Kichijoji station but this is probably the best.
