Liber Hotel at USJ - Osaka

Nice hotel! Decor is great and there are a lot of staff members around to help as needed. Great location, super close to USJ with a train station right across the street from the hotel, 1 train stop away from the USJ CityWalk entrance. Onsen on site is included in your stay and is great and very clean, with shower products provided. The carbonated bath is amazing! The smart screen in your room tells you how busy the Onsen is at any given time with real time updates. Smart screen in room controls lights, ac/heat, has an alarm function, messaging between rooms, Onsen status and more. Cons: *If you are expecting soft/comfortable beds, they are not (traditional, hard as a rock Japanese beds). *The studio twin rooms are TEENY TINY. It's wonderful that they have a trundle bed under one of the other beds and 3 twins fit in a room, but then there's almost no room to move around. Bathrooms are also tiny, with only a shower, but the shower is very nice. *Advertises an airport shuttle, but it doesn't service Osaka International Airport (Itami), only KIX. *Closet "space" only fits a carry on sized suitcase, so if you have a bigger suitcase you have to find somewhere in the room to set it. Worth the price and convenience!

It is a really big gorgeous hotel with a beautiful view and comfortable relaxing terrace. About 10mins walk from the USJ. Next to the Sakurajima Sta. I had a lovely dream last night there. Next time I’m gonna stay here again.

With the weather being so nice I stopped by the hotel on the way home from work. Last Friday about 5:30, a coworker and I wanted to sit and have a few drinks on the outdoor deck on the third floor. We were turned away because the Brickside will only let you in if order the buffet @ ¥4000. What a waste.

no fuss check-in, 15 mins. walk to USJ station. only complaint is that cafe only opens from 11:30 am. No where to eat good breakfast except their pricey buffet or the 7-11 nearby. Might as well go to the Port Hotel for a fancy cafe, which opens at 8:00.

I stayed 4 days and 3 night at Liber Hotel and it has been a great experience. Everything went well from the beginning to the end. Location: In front of the sea. Really good place to take his breakfast the morning. The hotel is located at one stop from the Universal Studio and 10min from the aquarium of Osaka. Service at the reception: Fast, polite and professional. Thanks to Ms. T.Kagi, I could get my train on time. She did everything for the taxi to come on time. Thank you very much!!! Taxi from and to Shin Osaka station:¥ 5,000 => take the taxi, it is way faster and cheaper that the subway and you can go through Osaka city. Breakfast at Brickside - 3rd floor: a large choice of food from normal breakfast to Japanese one. As soon as you finish to eat, waiters and waitresses come to clean the table. Measures against COVID are well respected. The pain au chocolat is tasty, the steak is juicy and the coffee way better than the one at Starbucks!! There is also breakfast for kids. Restaurants: I tried the Liber restaurant - 1st floor. I took out the bento steak and rice and one kid menu. What a surprise both were excellent. The manager told that everything will be ready in 20min and the time was respected. After, I tried the chocolate gelato, nice one for dessert. SPA: what a good thing to go after a long walking either in Osaka city or Universal studio. The SPA is clean and you don’t need to stay a long time to make you feel good. After it, a beer or lemon sour on the deck facing the sea. What a good moment!!! Bedroom: clean, comfortable and silent. You have the choice the morning from changing the towels to clean the entire room. This is based on the client choice. Overall it has been a good week end and I will for sure go back to Liber Hotel during my next trip to Osaka. Thank you very much to all the staff for your warm welcome and for your professionalism.

Beautiful lobby, beautiful rooms, helpful staff, and very spacious. The shower had great water pressure and felt quite luxurious, and the bedding was very comfortable. Minus one star because it's a little bit more of a walk from USJ than expected, and reservations don't include complimentary parking (although that appears to be the case with all the hotels around USJ).

It was a fabulous hotel to stay in. We stayed in a Superior Twin Room City View, a family of 6 for 2nights and 3days. The room is so clean and tidy. The amenities was great and the most nice thing is the toilet is separated from the bath tub and shower room. We requested a housekeeping in the 2nd day, and we are surprised that all of the beds was also changed new, new towel and pajama sets and clean slippers too? thank you for the soba makura that you let us lend separately. The spa was nice too but a little crowded, maybe it is in the pick season. The view and terrace is beautiful too, lobby is gorgeous? we are so pleased that we already booked our next stay in the following month. Thank you so much for the nice service Hotel Liber USJ.
