★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zepp Osaka Bayside最寄りの駅です。コインロッカー自体はBaysideの方にも（イベントがある日限定）開場前に入れられるロッカー・開場後に入れられる会場内ロッカーと、かなりの数がありますが、駅から少し歩くので荷物を持ち歩くのが面倒な方はこちらに。
エスカレーター近くに2カ所あります。（1階は改札外・2階は改札内エスカレーターを登ったところ）
※2020年9月末に行われたZepp Osaka Baysideのイベントでは全席座席指定だったのとコロナ対策ということもあり、館内のロッカーは全て使用禁止でした。大きな手荷物をお持ちの方はご注意ください。
The nearest station to Zepp Osaka Bayside. There are quite a few coin lockers for Bayside (only on days when there is an event), such as lockers that can be put in before the opening and lockers in the venue that can be put in after the opening, but it is troublesome to carry luggage because it is a short walk from the station. There are two locations near the escalator. (The 1st floor is outside the ticket gate, the 2nd floor is inside the ticket gate when you climb the escalator)
* At the Zepp Osaka Bayside event held at the end of September 2020, all seats were reserved and corona measures were taken, so all lockers in the hall were prohibited. Please be careful if you have large baggage.

大阪府大阪市此花区の夢洲にIRの施設が誘致された場合、延伸（地下構造）が計画されています。
その前に2025年日本国際博覧会の開催が決定していますが、延伸は間に合わないので、桜島駅から会場までバスによるピストン輸送を行う予定のようです。
桜島駅からバスターミナルまでは連絡橋で結ぶ予定で改札口を含め新設されるようです。
2025年日本国際博覧会の開催中は、ユニバーサル・スタジオ・ジャパンへのアクセスにも影響しそうですね。
電車の増便は必至だと思いますが、気になるところです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 悲しいことにほとんど人がいない駅です。大半は隣のユニバーサルシティ駅で降りてしまいます。
ただ2025年の万博により、延伸計画がされているようです。
ゆめ咲線、すなわち夢咲線だと思うので将来的に夢洲や咲洲へアクセスができるようになるのだろうとは思っていました。
Sadly, it's a station with few people. Most get off at the next Universal City Station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 本日3月25日明日から始まる予定だった都道府県対抗全日本中学生女子ソフトボール大会の会場設営に行くのに大阪環状線の西九条駅からJRゆめ咲線に乗り換えて桜島駅を利用しました。
桜島駅から北港観光の巡回バスにて舞洲セレッソスポーツパ━クにて下車して会場設営をして来ました。
但し残念ながら明日3月26日は荒天予想のために大会第一日目が27日に順延となりました。
I changed to the JR Yumesaki Line from Nishikujo Station on the Osaka Loop Line and used Sakurajima Station to set up the venue for the prefectural competition all-Japan junior high school girls softball tournament, which was scheduled to start tomorrow on March 25th today.
