★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seriously good udon. The broth is light yet fragrant and full of umami, and the noodles are springy yet tender. We ordered the one with egg in the broth. It’s quite common in Japan, but I don’t understand why you’d put nicely fried pieces of tempura in a soupy liquid. We tried the prawn tempura one (comes with two pieces) but the only thing good about the tempura was the impressive size. The prawn didn’t have much flavour and the batter naturally became soggy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The udon was amazing.The texture of the noodles were amazing ( chewy, but cooked perfectly that it remains somewhat tender). Broth is tasty, light and a bit salty. The tempura were flaky and the shrimps were huge and cooked nicely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here after trying to visit the udon store next door, and being told we had to wait 2 hrs. It was a blessing in disguise because this was one of the tastiest meals I had in Japan!
I tried the cold udon with tempura - the udon was bouncy and well cooked, the dipping sauce was traditional and not too strong flavoured. The tempura was cooked perfectly and well crumbed!
Extremely tasty and satisfying meal and would definitely recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good chewy udon with delicious tempura. I would recommend the udon with the most tempura since it's so good. They also have donburi, hot udon and soba substitute for every udon dish. It is very popular at lunch time so expect a queue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popular for their udon. But i opted for their soba instead as I'm not much of a udon lover . It was easily the best Soba i ever had. Rich flavorful dashi with light crisp tempura.
Egg drop soup n nabe was good. Curry version can be missed.

They have English menu but need to ask. But most of guest are japanese so please do your homework before visit.
Udon or Soba is same great and Tempura is very good.
