★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We chanced upon this place after walking all day, it was a truly hidden gem!
The seafood was so fresh and the service was excellent, completely genuine, unpretentious and extremely affordable.
Be warned everything is in Japanese but if your adventurous and want to try some delicious sushi we recommend you visit.
It was one of the highlights of our trip to Kyoto, if we ever visit again we would love to visit the owner/chef and his friends again and hopefully we can speak more Japanese when we do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute little sushi spot that we just happened to drop in to. Great service by the owner and food was outstanding. Salmon, hamacahi, eel, tomago, uni, and tuna were all fresh and served from our lovely little sushi chef. thank you for welcoming us while you were resting and reading your newspaper! We are big fans now!
