Served by friendly staff in private tatami rooms, ingredients both common and rare (puffer fish, white strawberries) are served with seasonal theatrics (breaking clay pots with hammers, wrapped in paper poems and the like). Book 2-3 months in advance during high seasons; restaurant is responsive online.
