★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing experience! Very friendly staff, excellent courses in a beautifully traditional setting with a cozy atmosphere. The waitress and chef even escorted my son and I to the street to say goodbye. Just south of Nishiki market, it’s a perfect choice to sneak away from the crowds and experience authentic Kyoto cuisine. You will love it.

Pricey, quiet and traditional, my wife and I loved it.
We paid about 130 USD pp including drinks for 10 dishes which was super super filling. You could probably get away with 8 dishes and be very full...

In my case we reached the wrong branch and they arranged for transportation to the right one. We also had my 4 year old kid and they gave extra portions for her included in our orders.
We had the 9 course meal and I was of the best meals I have had. Must experience it while in Kyoto.
