Kotohira-cho Kushinashi Shrine, one of the 24 Engishiki Sanuki shrines of the Heian period. Originally, it seems that it was not at the current location but at the west end of the top of Mt. Kushinashi, at the site of Kushinashi Castle (Kushinashi Kofun), but it seems that it moved to the current location when the castle was built. As it is one of the 24 Sanuki shrines, you can feel the power different from other shrines. Also, this Kushinashi Shrine is beautiful and my head goes down as if all the children are being cleaned.

"Kusinashi Shrine" The photo was taken in February 2015. It is a shrine in Kotohira Town, Kagawa Prefecture. Located in Shimokushinashi, 3km north of Kotohira Station, which is famous for Kotohiragu Shrine. It is located at the southwestern foot of Mt. Nyoi at an altitude of 158m, and is a promenade from the precincts to Mt. Nyoi. In ancient times, it seems that it was enshrined on the mountain, but it seems that it was relocated to the present location due to a fire. If you go through the torii gate and walk along the approach, you will find the Zuijin Gate, and if you walk along the stairs on the approach, you will find the shrine in front of you. [From the following company biography] According to the company's biography, when Prince Kamukushi, who was ordered by Emperor Keiko, came to the area from Tosa on a boat to avenge the big fish, the clouds were thick, it rained, and nothing could be seen. It became a state. There, the prince climbed a small mountain, begged for heaven, and the fire came down from heaven. The prince stayed there and worshiped the God of Kaede (Iwafune Daimyojin). Also, in order to worship the god of the land, ask the old man about the god of the land. It enshrines cannabis god, Otoshigami, and Yamashita Myojin and Suwa Myojin. In addition, when dressing up as a ship, he enshrined Futsunushi, Takemikazuchi (Akasaka Daimeijin). After that, he successfully defeated the big fish and built Shiroyama here, which became a national building. September 15, 199, the 8th year of Emperor Chuai. The origin of our company is that the prince who died at the age of 120 was buried in Kushinashiyama and a mausoleum was built and enshrined. Therefore, it is a shrine that was also called the Imperial Palace Daimyojin and Omiya.
