★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この場所は、山頂にある後藤山古墳に続く道沿いにあります。説明板があるので、読んでもらうといいのですが後藤山古墳の主が入っていたとされる石棺の蓋部分が何故かここに放置されています。放置されているとはいえど非常に状態が良い家形石棺蓋で、一部の損傷を除いて当時の姿が垣間見れる状態です。個人的な考えですが、この付近に倉谷石仏という史跡があり石棺が使われた石棺仏であることから、それらに転用しようとしたのかなと想像しています。これだけ見るのも良いのですが、後藤山古墳とセットで見ると史跡が好きな方はワクワク出来ると思いますので、時間に余裕をもってどちらも訪れてほしい場所です。
 This place is along the road leading to the Gotoyama Kofun at the summit. There is an explanation board, so I hope you read it, but for some reason the lid of the sarcophagus, which is said to contain the Gotoyama tumulus, was left here. It is a house-shaped sarcophagus lid that is in very good condition, albeit abandoned. It is a personal idea, but since there is a historical site called Kuraya Stone Buddha near this area and the sarcophagus was used as a sarcophagus Buddha, I guess it was diverted to them. It is good to see only this, but if you look at the Gotoyama Kofun and set it, you will be excited if you like historical sites, so it is a place you want to visit both with plenty of time.
