そう言えば昔うちのバアちゃんが、昔酔っ払いオヤジが閻魔堂に悪さしたらそのオヤジにガッツリ祟りが起こったような話をよくしてくれたなぁ…。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日光例幣使街道と中山道の合流点が現在の閻魔堂辺りではないかと推測されますが、実を言えば高校時代は日光例幣使街道沿いに行って、社会人になると中山道沿いを通りましたが、日光例幣使街道沿いに関しても行きだけでなく帰りも通ったことがありました。街道はなくなっている所が数知れずありますが、目印になっている建物は案外残っているんですね。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2014年2月に高崎で積雪60cmを超える大雪が降り旧閻魔堂が傷んだ為に建て替えられました。
さすが日光に通じているだけあってか、閻魔堂の隣には見ざる聞かざる言わざる???が掘られた石碑があります。
It was rebuilt in February 2014 because heavy snowfall of over 60 cm fell in Takasaki and the old Enmado was damaged.
There is a stone monument where ??? was dug next to Enmado, as it is connected to Nikko.
