当日、寒かったので、暖かい「肉そば」をいただきまた。 鶏肉は歯応えがあります。お蕎麦もつゆも美味しかったです。 駐車場は、店の裏にありますが、砂利が敷き詰められていたので、ちょっと運転しずらかったです。(駐車位置を示す白線も見にくかった・・・) 支払いは、現金のみです。 暖かい季節になったら、冷たいそばも食べたいなぁ・・(地元の方は、冬でも冷たい肉そばを食べるそうなのですが・・・チャレンジできず)

初めて山形の肉そば食べました。写真撮り忘れましたが、めちゃくちゃ美味しかったです。冷たい汁のそば絶品です。日本そばと中華があります。歯応えがあって食べ応えありますよ。ぜひ食べてみてください。

結構昔からある店ですがなかなか行く機会がなくこの度初訪問です。 ・二色肉そば 1,100円 合い盛りのどんぶり版というところでしょう。あちこち食ってきましたが、一つのどんぶりの中に蕎麦と中華麺が一緒になっているのは初めての経験です。 蕎麦は冷たい肉そばにある一般的な蕎麦。ややコシ強めの美味しい麺です。 中華麺はツルツルとした喉越しの良い、啜りやすい麺です。県産小麦粉"ゆきちから"に似た食感です。 スープ、谷地系の肉蕎麦スープとは若干違う感じ。親鶏の出汁が効いてやや甘い感じで悪くはないと思いますが、蕎麦と中華麺とそれぞれ絡み方が違います。中華麺がツルツルしてるぶん、スープの絡みが少々弱い感じがしました。 美味しいのですが、もうちょい濃くても良いかと。(好みもあるかと思いますのであしからず) 蕎麦と中華麺が一玉ずつ入ってボリューム感満点です。平日12時には満席になる人気店でした。

I am here with a friend who was visiting from Tokyo and suggested we eat something famous in Yamagata. We looked up "Tsumetai niku-soba" 冷たい肉そば, on the Japanese website and found some good review for this place. "Tsumetai niku-soba stands for Cold buckwheat noodles soup with (pork) meat. It is a very traditional dish in the Yamagata prefecture. I order the hot niku-soba and my friend ordered the "bikkuri tsumetai niku-soba". Our meals were basically the same flavor but each one tasted quite good as a hot and cold dish. Now the thing about my friend's was the "bikkuri" part. It means "surprise" in Japanese. I was so surprised when they brought out his bowl. It was 3 TIMES the size of mine!!!!!!!!!!!! But he said it was sooo delicious. He said he really thought it was one of the best niku-soba. I have to agree that mine was quite a joy to eat. Mine actually came in a set with "Katsu" which is a bit of fried pork over rice topped with a savory sauce. We both ate every thing and it was all delicious. Tea and water are both self-serve and included in the service. The owners were very kind and welcoming to the fact that I was a foreigner. :) Even the other guests in the restaurant were quite welcoming. I will definitely come back again!
