Kumomi Shore is a small beach, but the location is quite good. ('(E) `) b You can see Mt. Fuji when the weather is nice. There is a footbath nearby, but there is usually an open-air bath. It's easy to get in naked, but there's no place to change clothes, so just put up with your feet. There is a parking lot, but since it is a parking lot that goes down toward the beach, it slopes diagonally. It's not such a big parking lot, so it seems like it will fill up soon in the summer. It was a wonderful place where throat time flows. ('(E) `)

From the Kumomi Shore parking space, you may walk for about 5minutes and you can see an observation deck with a very stunning view of the Kumomi area. If you are lucky, you might be able to see a really good view of the ocean and Mt. fuji in harmony. During summer, Kumomi beach attracts many tourists. But at days like this on autumn, it is a nice place to relax and be at peace with Matsuzaki nature.

After climbing down from the peak of Mt. Eboshi nearby, you can reach this beautiful beach, which features a view of two large rocks named Ushitsuki-Iwa (lit. cow-ashore-rocks) because of some cows that escaped death by climbing onto the rocks after a huge flood washed the local village and livestock out to sea many, many years ago. The villagers later put a shrine on the larger rock and “tied” the rocks together with a shimenawa rope to pray for safety of the harbor and fishing vessels. Check out the Pix4Japan YouTube channel for a video of this location.
