★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 説明を聞くと、納得するけど、ただ見てくるだけだと、500円の入場料はたかいね、ただの小さなお寺です、行ったら係員に説明を聞いてください。
If you listen to the explanation, you will be convinced, but if you just look at it, the entrance fee of 500 yen is high, it is just a small temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 此処は、長八記念館です。漆喰で有名な長八が使った道具類等々でいっぱいです。それと五百羅漢で有名な東福寺も是非合わせてお邪魔してみて下さい。
This is the Chohachi Memorial Hall. It is full of tools used by Chohachi, famous for plaster. Please also visit Tofuku-ji Temple, which is famous for 500 Hyakukan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 天井絵、長八さんは狩野派で修業したらしくこれは名作だと思いました。欄間に飾られている「飛天の像」も素晴らしく、欄間の彫刻の裏と表は違ったものが彫られています。外は木鼻に彫られた彫り物も、石川雲蝶を思い起こさせるものでした。
Ceiling picture, Nagahachi thought that it was masterpiece as it studied in the Kano school. The "flying statue" decorated between the columns is also wonderful, and the back and front of the sculpture between the columns are engraved different. Outside the sculpture carved in the wood nose also reminds me of Ishikawa Uncho.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ お寺の方の説明で、長八の作品が良くわかりましたし、かなりの作品が残っています。表に回り（写真1枚目）隠れた生き物（何の生き物化は伺ってからのお楽しみに）を探すのも楽しい。この後、岩科学校に行くと、入り口で感動します。
In the explanation of the temple, I understood the work of Chohachi, and there are still a lot of works. It's also fun to go around the table (first photo) and find hidden creatures (please see what creatures look like). After this, when you go to Iwate School, you will be impressed at the entrance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ お寺の方からお寺のこと、長八様のことを丁寧に説明して頂けます。勉強になるし、お寺の天井や装飾も角度や隠れているものなど、楽しく回らせて頂けます。うちも同じ宗派ですが普通装飾はあまりないので少し不思議な感じも受けました。松崎を巡る際には、ぜひ参拝してほしいです。
