ここに到着するころは毎回夕方になっています。
冬はトンボロが見えないので夏に来ることをお勧めします。
 I didn't cruise because of the strong wind.
Every time I arrive here, it's evening.
It is recommended to come in summer as you cannot see Tombolo in winter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 強風の為、遊覧船は欠航でしたがそれ目的で行ってなかったので良かったです。
天窓洞を覗き見して遊歩道を散策しましたが、午後の西日が強く海が近くてリフレッシュできました。
やっぱり海はいいですね。
The tour boat was canceled due to strong winds, but it was good because I didn't go there for that purpose.
I took a peek at Dougashima Sea Cave and strolled along the promenade, but the afternoon sun was strong and the sea was near, so I was able to refresh myself.
After all the sea is good.

There were big rugged rocks scattered in the sea, so I took a break in the park. Crossing the road, there was a big museum of singer Kayama.

A coast in Nishiizu-cho, Kamo-gun, eastern Shizuoka Prefecture. It is a base for sightseeing on the west coast of the Izu Peninsula. The area is composed of white sandy tuff of the Shirahama Group, and has the beauty of the coastal topography due to wave erosion. Small islands such as Jijima and Kamejima, Tombolo (Rikukeisasu) topography of Sanshiro Island, sea cave of Dogashima and sea cave of Tensodo, etc. The sky window cave, which is colorful and designated as a national natural memorial in 1935, is a shape in which the ceiling of the sea cave has fallen and the sky window is opened. In 1937, the area south of Dogashima became a national scenic spot as the southwest coast of Izu, and it is also part of Fuji Hakone Izu National Park. The number of tourist facilities has increased, including the development of hot springs in 1962 (Showa 37) and the opening of the Western Run Center (currently Ran no Sato Dogashima) in 1970. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 高波や強風悪天候でフェリーが欠航になることもありますが、そんな時でも公園内の散歩は出来るので 天候が良ければ岩場沿いに散歩したり、洞穴を上からみたり、と、とても楽しめます。海風が強いので、特に岩場を散歩する際は帽子など飛ばされないようにホントに注意が必要。駐車場に車を停める際にも潮風でベタベタになるので窓を閉めて置いた方が良いですよ。
駐車場無料。公園も入園無料。
The ferry may be canceled due to high waves or strong winds and bad weather, but you can still take a walk in the park, so if the weather is nice, you can take a walk along the rocks or look at the cave from above. The sea breeze is strong, so be careful not to let your hat fly, especially when you take a walk in the rocky area. Even when you park your car in the parking lot, the sea breeze makes it sticky, so it is better to close the window.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 20年ぶりくらいに来ましたか、海がキレイだし、波も穏やかで結構楽しめました。
遊覧船で行った青の洞窟、やはり動画とかで見るんじゃなくて、直接見たほうが良いですね。形容の仕方が分からないのですが、何というか神秘的な感じがします。
駐車場の前の加山雄三ミュージアムの押し出しが強くて微笑ましい。館内のレストランで軽く食事をしましたが、ありました、まさかのトンボロ焼き定食（笑）。やっぱ、ゆるキャンの影響なんでしょうかね。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 136号沿いに駐車場があって入りやすいので、西伊豆に行った時は良く寄ります。
岩山に登って景色を眺めると、眼下に海が見えて気持ち良いです。
クルーズ船が海から天窓洞（青の洞窟）に入っていくところも見れますよ。
There is a parking lot along No. 136 and it is easy to enter, so I often stop by when I go to Nishiizu.
When you climb the rocky mountain and look at the scenery, you can see the sea below and it feels good.
You can also see the cruise ship entering the sky window cave (blue cave) from the sea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best and most underrated place of Japan.Full of natural beauty and beautiful oceanic view.
There is natural mountain rock whose shape is just like Elephant and tortoise.
The parking is huge and free of cost.
However its far from main town area like Shizuoka.
Access is very inconvenient coz only few local buses runs there.
You have to pay a transportation charges in two stops so make sure to bring a changes when you go there.
We didn't knew about that but some how we able to manage to pay the road tax.
You can also observe the canyons via ships.
You have to pay some amount of yen and then you can see the rocks,oceans via ship.
The ship takes about 20-30min to complete its trip and worth to its price as well.
Really a beautiful place to visit.
Highly recommended.
