★ ★ ★ ★ ★ コロナショック前は一日の乗降客が5万人ぐらいの駅でした。大正時代に地元の人たちの請願を受けて、東武鉄道が「越ケ谷駅」として作りました。それまでの越ケ谷駅は今の北越谷駅になっています。
Before the corona shock, the station had about 50,000 passengers a day. In the Taisho era, Tobu Railway built it as "Koshigaya Station" at the request of locals. Until then, Koshigaya Station is now Kitakoshigaya Station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ bリーグ、越谷アルファーズの観戦のためにバスに乗るため利用しました。
会場の越谷市総合体育館には新越谷(南越谷)からも行けますし、あちらのほうがバスも多いですが越谷から行くほうが100円安いしICカードも使えます。
I used it to get on the bus to watch the b-league, Koshigaya Alphas.
You can also go to the venue, Koshigaya City General Gymnasium, from Shin-Koshigaya (Minamikoshigaya), and there are more buses there, but going from Koshigaya is 100 yen cheaper and you can use an IC card.

駅前広々と開放感があっていい感じです。東口に庶民的なお店が店が勢揃いしています。ケンタッキー、松家、吉野家、ドトール、王将、ガストなどなど、大抵のものはあります。スタバ、タリーズがないのがちょっと残念です。
It is a report around the station.
It's nice to have a spacious and open feeling in front of the station. There are many popular shops at the east exit. There are most of them, such as Kentucky, Matsuya, Yoshinoya, Doutor, King, Gusto, etc. It's a little disappointing that there are no Starbucks or Tully's.
