j	jack kent on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 建て替えされてきれいな駅になりました。エスカレーター・エレベーター・多目的トイレも整備されてバリアフリー対策もバッチリです！利根運河（川）を超えて北側（東京理科大学や霊波之光本部方面）へ行くなら東口の方が歩行者用道路も整備されているので安全です。『霊波之光』の本部施設の最寄駅でもあるので広告が掲出されていますし、参拝者も多数利用しますが、ごくごく普通の郊外の駅です。残念なのは駅舎内に売店やコンビニがないこと。買い物が必要な場合は駅前のコンビニ（ファミマ）を利用しましょう！ It was rebuilt and it became a beautiful station. 林	林雅彦 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 千葉県流山市にある東武アーバンパークラインの駅です。梅郷駅と江戸川台駅の間にあります。駅名の運河は、利根運河を指しています。利根運河は、明治時代の半ばに利根川の河川交通のためにつくられた運河です。江戸時代より、利根川を使って、銚子から関宿をまわり、江戸川を経て江戸へ物資を運搬することが行われてきました。明治時代以降もこれが続いていて、関宿を回らずに短縮経路としてつくられたのが、利根運河です。これにより、柏市のあたりから流山市を経て船が通れるようになりました。しかし、数年後に錦糸町駅と銚子駅の間に鉄道が開通し、利根運河の役割は終わりました。現在は、利根川と江戸川の流量調整等に使われています。 It is the station of Tobu Urban Park line in Chiba Prefecture Nagareyama. J	JR Namida on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of bicycle parking, late night food shops just outside west exit and taxi service seems to be available @ all times. There is a new convenience store on the east side of the remodeled clean station. Easy walk along the bicycle/pedestrian path next to the water way on the North side of this small train station.
