聖地巡礼（ご当地アニメじゃありません）で，三嶋神社を参拝した後，むむっ！道向こうの草むらの覆屋の中に古い仏像のようなものを発見。お寺関係は専門外ですので普段でしたら気に止めないのですが，それにしてもあの黒光りした太鼓腹，とても不気味です。江戸末期頃の邪教の御本尊か，それとも生贄の儀式の祭壇跡かも知れません。おそるおそる近づいてみると・・・木彫りのクマさんが「奥久慈の郷ツリーハウス村」の幟を持ってました。右手にいささか荒れてはいますが山への登り口があります。巡礼の旅でいささか疲れていたのですが，この地を再訪することはまずあるまいし，ここで登らねば男がすたるというもの。ヤケになって登っていきましたよ。途中で（やっぱ，よしとくべきだったと）後悔しながら。そしてついに，それなる村なる場所を発見す。そうですね，小さなツリーハウスというよりも．．．普通なら東屋と呼ぶべきものが一棟だけ。後で調べたところ，奥久慈の郷応援隊によるツリーハウス村プロジェクトの第一号として2012年（江戸時代じゃなかったです）に最初の一棟（これです）が竣工。そして現代に至るというわけですが，いつの日か二棟目が着工し次から次へとツリーハウスが作られ村となり町となって，ついには政令指定都市となることを願いつつ，荒れた山道を降りていったのでした。
