上より二段目の滝は岸壁厚く、向かって右側の白糸を男滝(雄滝)、左側を女滝(雌滝)、水量多き時に真ん中に垂れるのを子滝と称す。
日本三名瀑として著名で、本邦の名勝である。
水量が不足気味の時もあるが、両側の山とともに織り成す景は実に見事である。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 観瀑台から大迫力の姿を見るもよし、月折山の登山道の途中のしっとりした姿を見るもよし。春の桜の時期も良し、秋の紅葉はなお良し。どこからいつ観ても美しい。
You can see the powerful appearance from the observatory, or you can see the moist appearance on the mountain trail of Mt. Tsukiori. The cherry blossom season in spring is good, and the autumn leaves are even better. It's beautiful no matter where you look.

日本全国の様々な滝を見てきたが、四度の滝は滝と人との距離が近く、周りの景観も良くて素晴らしい。
また道中にあるお店も楽しく、また訪れたい場所だ。
第一観瀑台までは犬を連れて行けるので、お散歩としても楽しめる。
駐車場は無料駐車場を使うと良い。
2022.2.13 Visit
I have seen various waterfalls all over Japan, but the four waterfalls are close to people and the surrounding landscape is wonderful.
Also, the shops along the way are fun and a place you want to visit again.
You can take your dog to the first waterfall, so you can enjoy it as a walk.
It is good to use a free parking lot.
