Visited on November 27th. Autumn special release. It's not that big, but after looking at the garden for a while, the gradation of autumn leaves and moss on the back was wonderful, and it left a strong impression on me. It may be the most beautiful gradation of autumn leaves I have ever seen! !! Although it is a small temple overall, it has a nice atmosphere and I would like to visit it during the autumn colors!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not worth the ticket price!!! The complex has quite a few temples, each requires separate admission. A rip off.

The main hall is an Irimoya-style, leather-framed building that shows the characteristics of the Muromachi period style. The floor is said to be the first in Japan. In addition, it is believed that they used to decorate barrier drawings such as Kanoh Motonobu and Tosa Mitsunobu, but they were lost during the confusion period of the Meiji Restoration from the end of the Edo period. A total of 20 paintings were written by Muraishi Beisai, an ink painter from Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
The entrance to the main gate is the Sakai gate, and features of the Shinshu architectural style during the Muromachi period.
The front gate is Ping Tang Gate, which is one of the old gates at Daitokuji Temple.
Kankyo-tei is a tea room with a corner plate added to the quadrangle of the Furuta Oribe taste named after the poem by Su Shi (Soshoku), and it looks like a cave because the sleeves come out between the floors, so Hora It is called -doko (cave floor).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This temple consists of rock gardens. Each part of the garden had his own story which will be handed to you in English. It's a nice and quite place to take a small rest and enjoy the peaceful gardens.
