Fancy fancy here. In North and South Mall, you'll find all brands, you can imagine. Vibrating energy, esp. on weekends. You'll find whole Kobe at the waterfront, dining in restaurants, doing an evening cruise. Just having a good time there with family and friends. Also, you see famous Kobe Port Tower beautifully illuminated at night.

Spacious, clean, and the information booths are really helpful to tourists. The mall reminds me of malls in other countries, but better because of the view. Regardless which season you wish to visit Japan, Umie and Kobe to be exact can deliver you to places and views without the hassle and insane foot traffic that you'll expect in larger cities.

Magnificent shopping center with a spectacular view of the bay, here you can eat delicious in affordable restaurants or cafes located on the first floor as well as the boutiques of big brands Chocolateria FRANTZ, Estudio Ghibli, Ultraman, etc. On the second floor are restaurants of Japanese and international food from expensive to luxurious but each is worth what it costs.

Kobe Harborland (神戸ハーバーランド) is a shopping and entertainment district between JR Kobe Station and the waterfront of Kobe's port area. The district offers a large selection of shops, restaurants, cafes and other amusements, which, together with the romantic evening atmosphere, have made it a popular spot for couples and tourists alike. The most prominent shopping complex in Kobe Harborland is Umie which consists of three parts: Mosaic, South Mall and North Mall. Mosaic stretches along the waterfront and offers a wide selection of restaurants. Many of the eateries overlook the harbor with views of Kobe Port Towerand the Kobe Maritime Museum across the water, which are especially nice in the evenings when they are illuminated. At the southern end of Mosaic stand a Ferris wheel and the Anpanman Museum, a museum dedicated to the popular manga and anime series about the bread-headed superhero. The South Mall and North Mall are enclosed shopping malls featuring a department store and more various smaller shops. Umie's South Mall More shopping and dining opportunities are found in many of the district's other buildings, which are connected with each other by a series of underground and surface walking paths, promenades and a waterfront boardwalk. One of the main streets that leads through the center of Kobe Harborland, the Gaslight Street, is lit up in the evenings by old-fashioned gas street lamps and electric lights. Other attractions in the district include the Renga Soko, a small collection of 19th-century brick warehouses which remain from a former dockyard that used to cover the waterfront. The low brick buildings have been renovated and are now occupied by a restaurant, shops and an event space. In addition, a Manyo Club hot spring is located on the top floors of the district's Puromena skyscaper. The 24 hour facility offers nice views over the city from some of its baths. Harborland (神戸ハーバーランド kōbe-hābārando) is a shopping district in Chuo-ku, Kobe, Japan. Kobe Port Tower is located there. This shopping district was made on the site of the former freight yard, Minatogawa Kamotsu Station of the Japanese National Railways. The yard was removed in 1982 and the shopping district opened in 1992. AccessEdit JR Kobe Station Kosoku Kobe Station Harborland Station

The Kobe Harbourland area is best enjoyed at night when its absolutely gorgeous. You might as well sit here all by yourself and still not get bored. It's one of the must-do things on your list if you are sightseeing in the Kobe area. Without a trip here in the night a visit to Kobe is incomplete. The Concerto boat moored at the Kobe Harbourland area is a floating restaurant. It takes off for a cruise around the Kobe hat our area once everyone's on board. Most likely must reserve in advance and must be expensive without a doubt. Breathtaking views best enjoyed in the company of friends and family.
