The connection of each line is not bad. The west side of the station is an urban area, and the east side has conspicuous fields.

三	三京 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 京橋､京都､奈良､加茂方面へそれぞれ電車1本で行ける駅です。この駅から発着している路線に「奈良」線がありますが、奈良県迄繋がっておらず､この駅が終点です。ラッシュ時以外は閑散としている駅だと思います。加茂駅方面は加茂駅以東が非電化のためそれより先は直通出来ません。早く関西本線全線電化･複線化して欲しく思います。 This is a station where you can go to Kyobashi, Kyoto, Nara and Kamo by a single train. T	Tatsuya Yabuuchi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 関西本線、奈良線、片町線が乗り入れて分岐する、変則的な2面4線の駅。1番線は片町線専用ですが、京都方面へのレールも伸びており、2番線は京都・加茂方面ホーム。3番線は京都方面から奈良行きの列車用ホームで、4番線は加茂方面から奈良行きの列車用ホームです。駅構内の時刻表がホームにはなくて改札外にしかないのがやや不便に感じます。 An irregular 2-sided 4-line station where the Kansai Main Line, Nara Line, and Katamachi Line enter and branch off. Line 1 is exclusively for the Katamachi line, but the rails to Kyoto are also extending, and line 2 is the platform for Kyoto and Kamo.
