★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ホームが高架上で周りに低い建物しかないので冬場は凍えるほど寒い。エレベーターはあるがエスカレーターはない。駅員も常駐ではない。根本的に本数が少ない(笑)
It is freezing cold in winter because the platform is elevated and there are only low buildings around. There is an elevator but no escalator. Station staff is not resident. The number is basically small (laugh)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ JR三山木駅と共に同志社大学の街の主要駅となりました。数年前しか知らない人には、浦島太郎です。周辺には銀行や地元のスーパー、喫茶店、コンビニ等あり。周辺は同志社大学の学生マンション「スカイハイツ三山木」の大規模マンションを筆頭に中小マンションが多くなりました。
Together with JR Miyamaki Station, it became the main station in the town of Doshisha University. For those who know only a few years ago, it is Taro Urashima. There are banks, local supermarkets, coffee shops, convenience stores, etc. in the vicinity. In the surrounding area, the number of small and medium-sized condominiums increased, led by the large-scale condominium of Doshisha University student condominium "Sky Heights Miyamaki".

近鉄・ＪＲ共に高架駅になり、ここ数年で駅周辺が整備・開発され、駅周辺にはお店が沢山でき、バスロータリーもできて激変。
近鉄・ＪＲ共に各停しか停まりませんが、快適な駅だと思います。

Both Kintetsu and JR stop only at each stop, but I think it is a comfortable station.

ただ乗降者は意外と多く、隣接する近畿三山木駅への乗り換えも出来るので便利な駅です。
JR Miyamaki Station is an unmanned station.
However, there are surprisingly many passengers getting on and off, and it is a convenient station as you can transfer to the adjacent Kinki Miyamaki Station.
