★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good place to visit and chill. Went here during a rain storm and there were plenty of seats compared to the nearby Starbucks which was standing room only.
I don’t like matcha so I ordered their vanilla soft serve cone which tasted okay.
I was told by others in my group that the Matcha tea and tiramisu tasted good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tiramisu is the best thing on the menu out of the items I tried. The rest varied from disappointing to okay. The interiors of the store are pretty cool, but there's a lot of tourists, and strangely enough (and to my disbelief), there was a table of very loudmouthed Japanese women is their 30s.
The clerks seemed young and inexperienced, and asked us to find seats after having queued for a while - this despite the shop being half empty. While it only cost me a few minutes, I found this strange.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious selection of desserts in a nice atmosphere. Not too busy on weekdays. Ate on 2nd floor with view of street. I started with the “middle combo” matcha green tea, since I never had an authentic matcha green tea before. It was way too bitter, but the sweet mochi that accompanied it helped me to down the tea.
I hadn’t eaten much all day so decided to split a parfait with my friend. Scooping from the bottom helps to mix the ingredients and you have a party of flavour in your mouth! Now I’m ready to tackle a hike to many shrines! lol

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love the high-quality Matcha green tea ice cream, which was absolutely delicious, and possibly the best soft serve ice cream I have had in Kyoto. I have lived here for three years now, so that says a lot. I definitely would love to come back here. The one near Takashimaya mall, always has a line of people outside of it, so I’ve always wanted to go, but this place had available seats, so I’m so glad we went. The only bad thing was, that the bathroom smelled terribly.
