Very delicious! The color of the curry sauce may seem daunting at first, but the taste is awesome!

Old school diner that supposedly invented Japanese style curry. Not sure if that's true, but it's damn good. Usually a line outside but it moves quite fast. You may have to share a table with other diners. Old school place though, so be prepared

So tasty with very reasonable price. A must-try if you are near Jimbocho district. It's very small and cozy but the staff will explain to you in English. Just ask!!!

My favorite food in this restaurant is Katsu curry. There are a lot of fried food like fish, chicken, squid, and shrimp. There are also combo menu like fried food and ginger pork. However, I strongly recommend to choose Katsu Curry.

Seems like a old school place. Price is reasonable and taste great. I don't know if they have an English menu, but everything was in Japanese and no pictures. We sad at a table, there is sauces, dressing, spices, water, pickles available.. but no tissues. Overall the restaurant seems dirty, the lights and white walls makes it look like a bathroom. They had a problem with a cockroach while we were there because the door is always open I guess. Toilet is a squat toilet, so good luck with that. An old man was washing fork and spoons in front of us and it was very noisy.

Hands down the best Japanese curry I’ve had. I generally go with pork at places like these, but the breading on the chicken > breading on the pork. Just awesome. And while they have quite different flavor profiles, Japanese curry and Mexican mole clearly have similar roots. Love them both!

Claims to be the first katsu curry place in Tokyo. Been around for a while to say the least and it doesn’t disappoint. The curry was darker than most, and had a hint of spiciness that added a nice layer to the taste. The pork was good as well. Be prepared to queue. Worth your time.
