本数は1時間にだいたい1本。
高崎駅までは電車で約3分、バスで約15分です。
バスの方が本数が多いので便利かも知れません。
周りはスーパーやデポ、百均などもあり比較的利便性は高いかと思います。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 近くに学校があるので学生の利用も多いです。皆さんの言う通り高崎駅に行くには路線バスの方が本数が多くて便利ですね。電車があまりない時間帯は路線バスを検討するのも良いでしょう。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 意外な自動販売機があるとは想像していませんでした。駅にある自動販売機はSuicaだけに対応しているのに、こちらの自動販売機は特別でSuicaだけにとどまらず、楽天Edy等の電子マネーに対応しているので、コンビニでチャージした後に飲み物を買うことができるというわけです。キャッシュレス決済が駅のホームにある自動販売機で出来るとは驚きました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 明治18年(1885年)信越線が開通すると、田んぼのなかに忽然と「飯塚停車場」が建設されました。
これが現在の北高崎駅だそうです。
駅ができると周辺には、商店が軒を連ねるようになり、急速に発展しました。
明治35年(1902年)には大橋町が誕生。かつて田園が広がっていた場所は、賑やかな町に変貌を遂げました。
大正8年(1919年)には九州の飯塚と混同されないため、北高崎と改称されました。
なお「飯塚」という地名は、この辺りに古墳群があった為「飯を盛ったような形の塚」というのが由来ではないかと考えられる…ということです(^_^ゞ
When the Shinetsu Line opened in 1885, the “Iizuka Stop” was built in the middle of rice fields.
It seems that this is the present Kitatakasaki Station.
When the station was built, shops began to line up with eaves and developed rapidly.
Ohashi-cho was born in 1902. The place that used to be a rural area has transformed into a bustling town.
Since it was not confused with Iizuka of Kyushu in 1919 (1919), it was renamed as Kitatakasaki.
It should be noted that the place name "Iizuka" is considered to be the origin of "a mound shaped like filled with rice" because there were old burial mounds around here ... (^ _ ^

乗り遅れたら、近くにあるバス停からバスに乗り、高崎駅に向かうのも手です。
駅員がいても、特殊な切符や定期の販売は一切しません。
北高崎駅のスタンプは、盗まれたのか、なくなってしまいました。
トイレは外にあり、かなり古いので要注意。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 信越本線の駅。本数は少なく、朝夕以外は1時間に一本程度。バスの方が本数多くてラクかも。
高崎駅までは2キロちょいなので、いざとなれば歩けないこともないかな。
北口と南口があります。北口は日曜日は空いてなくて、しかも時間限定（7〜10時 15〜19時）なので注意。学生さん向けなのかな？
トイレは改札外にあって、新しくなった駅舎に比べると古い感じ。駅構内に無くて焦りますが、トイレ行きたい！と駅員に言えば、一時的に外に出るのも可能です。

It's only 2 kilometers to Takasaki station, so I wonder if I can't walk in case of emergency.

The toilet is outside the ticket gate and feels old compared to the new station building. I'm impatient because it's not inside the station, but I want to go to the bathroom! If you tell the station staff, you can go out temporarily.
