★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 以前にも下車したことがあったわけですが、最近職場が近くにあることを知って毎日のように乗り降りするようになりました。東口に置いてあったアート作品は卒業をテーマにしたものですが、以前は受験生の合格祈願を目的にしたものとか様々なものがありました。西口は通路でつながっていて、エレベーターや駐輪場がありますが、有料ではないため周辺にも駐輪スペースが広がっています。新幹線等新しい路線が開業するわけではなく、町の名前が新前橋町だったということだそうです。
I used to get off the train before, but recently I learned that my workplace is nearby and started getting on and off every day. The art works placed at the east exit have the theme of graduation, but before, there were various things such as those aimed at praying for the passing of the examinees. The west exit is connected by a passage, and there are elevators and bicycle parking lots, but since there is no charge, bicycle parking space is expanding in the surrounding area. It is said that the name of the town was Shinmaebashi-cho, not that new lines such as the Shinkansen will open.

I came for the issue station of the Shonan-Shinjuku Line 20th Anniversary Stamp Rally. There is no direct connection from Kumagaya during the daytime, and you can change trains at Takasaki.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 元々は上越線と両毛線の分岐駅でしたが、高崎線の電車区が設けられたことで、駅前の商業発展が難しいです。
このためか、改札内には飲料自販機と、トイレしかありません。
ホームからは新前橋車両センターが良く見えるので、ジョイフルトレイン等も見られます。
Originally it was a branch station of the Joetsu line and the Ryomo line, but due to the establishment of the Takasaki line train ward, it is difficult to develop the commercial area in front of the station.
Perhaps because of this, there are only beverage vending machines and toilets inside the ticket gates.
From the platform, you can see the Shin-Maebashi rolling stock center, so you can see the Joyful Train.
