The elevator on Platform 1 has an interesting structure, and the doors are opened differently when going up to the 2nd floor from outside the ticket gate and when getting off at Platform 1 after entering the ticket gate. Probably because of the installation space. This method is inconvenient if there are many passengers, but it will work because there should not be many passengers. On the first floor, there is a shop that sells local products such as Road Station. There is also a space to drink a little tea, so you can effectively use the time waiting for the train. Apart from that, there is also a rest space. There are souvenir shops around the station, but there is no convenience store in front of the station. There is a supermarket (Heiwado) about 5 minutes walk away. There is a community bus in the town.
