魔	魔法少女さくら on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 長浜市の代表駅で、米原駅から北陸本線に入って3駅です。かつては京阪神方面から当駅までが直流電化で、新快速の乗り入れの北限でした。敦賀まで延長されて以降も当駅発着は残りましたが、現在日中の列車は米原駅発着に短縮されました。新快速の折り返しに使用される4番線は8両編成の対応で、12両編成の乗り入れができないため、当駅発着の新快速は終点まであと3駅という状況で米原駅での増解結を余儀なくされています。東口と西口があり、どちらの側にも観光施設や公共施設がある上、それらの多くが徒歩圏内にあるので、利便性は高いと思います。 It is the representative station of Nagahama City, and it is 3 stations from Maibara Station on the Hokuriku Main Line. In the past, DC electrification was used from the Keihanshin area to this station, which was the northern limit for the special rapid service. Although the trains departing from and arriving at this station remained after being extended to Tsuruga, the trains currently in Japan and China have been shortened to those departing from and arriving at Maibara Station. Line 4 used to turn back the Special Rapid Service is compatible with 8-car trains, and 12-car trains cannot be used. I have been forced to do so. There are east and west exits, and there are tourist facilities and public facilities on both sides, and many of them are within walking distance, so I think it is very convenient.

After that, it will be handled by an automatic ticket vending machine.
I	Ichiro yoyogi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 米原は駅前何もなく困るほどですが、こちら長浜は駅の周りに城下町。散歩も楽しい素敵な街が。米原あたりに泊まる時は、ちょっと足を伸ばしてこちらまで。 Maibara is in trouble because there is nothing in front of the station, but here Nagahama is a castle town around the station. A nice city where you can enjoy a walk. When staying around Maibara, stretch your legs a little and go here.

T	Timothy HALL on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the more modern train stations in Shiga. Receieved an upgrade a few years ago. Warmed indoor seating areas during the cold winter. More connections and more convenient than most other Japan Railway stations in northern Shiga.

H	Hob on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Huge station. Has a Heiwado supermarket next to it. Nice artwork decor.
T	The Smiley Yolk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprisingly Nagahama station is well equipped station. It is very close to Heiwado. In 1km radius, there are so many areas we can hop on. When you enter the station, make sure you go to the tourist information center and take the brochure there. They have the pamphlet that even providing the itinerary to go around Nagahama area. Nice.
