★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御茶ノ水駅方面に行くのに、男坂登坂回避の目的で遠回りしたら、校舎やお店などを眺めながら歩ける趣きのある通りで大正解！
数年前に訪れた時には、なかなかイケてるギャラリーもあったけれど、今はあるのだろうか？
Go to Ochanomizu Station, but if you make a detour for the purpose of avoiding Otosaka, you will be able to walk around while looking at the school buildings and shops!

山のホテルの裏手にあり、すぐ近くには明大もあるのに静かな坂です。
It is said that Sakanoshita's Ochanomizu Elementary School used to be called Kinka Elementary School.
It is located behind a mountain hotel, and it is a quiet slope even though there is Meidai in the immediate vicinity.

私が学生時代をここで過ごした1989年4月から1991年の3月まで、雀荘に行くのに、すずらん通りにパチンコに行くのに、お昼にバンビに行くのに、どれほど通ったろう。
今でも月に何度か通りますが、30年を経てもあまり変わらぬ景色にほっとします。坂の途中にある10号間と合わせて、いつまでもこのまま残って欲しい風景です。

…坂名は地名からではなく、小学校名称が由来なんだね(^o^)/

The name is because Kinka Elementary School is located in Sakashita. It is a mistake to call this slope Kakugaku slope. This slope is a new road made by the government's decision by the Land Readjustment Committee in August 1924. "No. 3 of the Resolution Guidelines" states that "Newly established Rokumai Street, which will cross the third Fukuromachi from Minami-Koka-cho and reach the east side of Kinka-ko-koen, the second destination of Urasaru-cho."

Located 6 to 7 minutes on foot from Jimbocho Station, this is a slope along Kinka Park. The origin of Sakana is because Nishikaka Elementary School (school where Natsume Soseki appeared) is located in Sakashita.
