地元で愛され、創業45年の小さなうどん屋さん です。都立狭山公園最寄りの武蔵大和駅近くの老舗うどん店「きくや」さんに数年ぶりに行来ましたが、あいも変わらず美味しかったです。 駅から徒歩10分程度です。 大人気店です。お昼時は混雑し、列ができます。午前11時に行きましたが、すでに私含めて3人いました。 この辺り、東村山市や所沢市は、江戸時代から小麦粉生産が盛んだったそうです。ここの手打ちうどんはかき揚げ付、5Lで850円と、味もコスパもよい。うどんの量を1Lから5Lまで選べます。標準が3Lで大盛りが5Lと言ったところでしょうかね。お試しあれ。徒歩か自転車が便利です。

平日12時半頃、比較的空いてました。麺は美味しいけど、天ぷらは揚げたてではないのでサクッとはしません。しかしその分提供が早いのでいいかな。小腹がすいてる程度ならL、しっかり食事するなら3Lくらいいけそう。

Lが一番小さいサイズで5Lまで。 一段階上がる毎に1玉増える。 さらに1玉50円で追加も可能。 つゆは濃くなく50代にはちょうどいい。卓上につゆもあるので足りなければ調整も可能。 そしてうどんがうまい。 少しぼそっと切れてしまうところもあるがそこで感じる小麦粉感が最高。 かき揚げは揚げたてではないのにかりかりしててうまい。 付け合わせの柴漬けもなぜか合う。 これで650円は大満足。

武蔵野うどんを出す老舗。ここで45年(2022年現在)もやっているそう。15年前から存在を知っていましたが、来店出来ずやっと来店できました。 L〜5Lまで選べて量も満足。しっかりした歯応えのおうどんは、肉汁の効いた甘味のある温かい付け汁でいただく。とても美味しい大満足でした。

昭和で時が止まっているような、昔ながらの大衆食堂が大好きな向きには堪らない店です。 小難しい理屈こねずに旨い旨いとズルズル掻き込んで、ご馳走さん美味しかったよ!と勘定して店出てそこらを散歩する、そんな感じの一言で言うなら美味いうどんがサッと食べられるお店ですね。

The udon tempura (served hot in a broth, ¥650) was good, although I'd probably try the tsukemen next time, as the broth was slightly too strong for me. At opening (11am) on a Sunday morning, the place was busy, and it's not a big shop. With no place for belongings (and with the floor wet), I ate with my backpack on my lap. There are plastic shields across tables where people face each other, but otherwise there are no social distancing measures in place i.e. people sitting at the tables and at the counter, sit directly next to each other without barriers between them.

Extremely popular udon place. The fame is justified as the udon is fantastic, but it will be crowded on weekends. Arrive early or be ready to queue up, especially around 13:00.
