★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 地下鉄で山科駅に行くときに地下鉄と京阪を間違って乗って来てしまうことがあります。
こんな経験はみんなあるはずなので、思い切って、統一料金にできないでしょうか。
 When you go to Yamashina station by subway, you may get on the subway and Keihan by mistake.
Everyone should have such an experience, so why not take the plunge and make a unified rate?

階段の昇降が少なく、
京都市交通局東西線 山科駅より、
JRや京阪バスへの乗り換えが便利で、
移動距離が少なく楽に利用できます。
西隣の御陵駅が運営会社が変わる境界駅で、
御陵駅から西側方向へ向かう時と、
（東西線へ乗り入れて、
太秦天神川駅方面）、
御陵駅より西側の駅から
（蹴上駅から西側）
京阪山科駅への利用時に、
（東西線から京津線へ乗り入れて、
びわ湖浜大津駅方面）、
運営会社や路線が変わります。
地下鉄東西線だけを利用した時よりも
料金が割高になります。
京阪山科駅と、
地下鉄東西線 山科駅は近接しているため、
料金が同じだと間違える方が多く
注意が必要です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 京阪山科駅です。JR山科駅や京都市営地下鉄山科駅、京阪バス停山科駅に乗り換えできます。
JRは東海道線と湖西線が、別れるところでもあり、利用率が高い駅です。
太秦天神川から烏丸御池、京阪三条、山科を経て浜大津まで繋がっており、それぞれ別の鉄道や路線に繋がっています。
同じ路線内に京都市営地下鉄線があるので、行き先を間違えないようにしないと、宇治の六地蔵方面に行ってしまうことがあるので注意して乗りましょう。
3条京阪では京阪線に、上栄町からは京津線で浜大津、浜大津からは比叡山や石山寺にもいけます。
烏丸御池は地下鉄烏丸線と乗り換えができ、竹田や国際会議場へいけますよ。2条からはJR嵯峨野線にも
とにかく便利なえきです。

JR is a station with a high utilization rate, as the Tokaido Line and Kosei Line are separated.
It connects from Uzumasa Tenjingawa to Karasuma Oike, Keihan Sanjo, Yamashina, and Hama Otsu, and each is connected to a different railroad or line.

朝の時間はタクシーも複数台停車していました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are going on a city tour from Kyoto Station, this is the station to get a transfer; much better than the Tozaisen Yamashina Station because it is actually directly connected to the JR Yamashina Station.
Just remember that you need to cross the railway and get on the train from the other side to go to the City Hall and Higashiyama area.
