無人駅ではなく、たまに駅員さんがおられます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駅は滋賀県大津市にあり四宮から電車に乗ってもトンネルをくぐる訳でもなくなんか「追分」という感じがしない。
The station is located in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, and even if you take a train from Shinomiya, you don't go through a tunnel and you don't feel like "Oiwake".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 周辺に自販機以外何もないし、駅の券売機が1000円札以上の札が使えず、基本無人駅なので小銭や1000円札を持っていなければ切符は買えない。
ただ、時々居る駅員さんはとても親切。
田舎ならではだと思う。
There is nothing other than a vending machine in the surroundings, and the ticket vending machine at the station can not use more than 1000 yen bills. Since it is a basic unmanned station, you can not buy tickets unless you have coins and 1000 yen bills.
However, sometimes the station staff are very kind.
I think it is unique to the countryside.

It is an unmanned station. It used to be located a little closer to Otsu in the old days, but for some reason it moved to a halfway place now ... there is no toilet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 東海道を京都には寄らずに大阪へ向かう分かれ道。古風な情緒はありませんが、今も生活道路として車が行き交っていました。
A fork in the Tokaido that goes to Osaka without stopping at Kyoto. It doesn't have an old-fashioned atmosphere, but cars still come and go as a living road.
