m	mariah aluash on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The elevator goes 100m down in 1min, very nice place to observe the falls but the downside is that any person using wheelchair can’t reach the observation point because of the stairs.

You can take a cable car and see it from afar and above which I would recommend boy it is truly most spectacular when you take the elevator to the bottom of the cliffs and see it up close. This is a must see if you are in the neighborhood and for instance is visiting Nikko-Shi.

J	John-Michael Lewis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful falls that come crashing down from a height just under 100m. The elevator tickets are worth it to get a different perspective of the falls. Lots of pricey food stalls and gift stores here. Parking was 320yen.
N	Nick M on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rather impressive waterfall set in the mountains of Tochigi. Lift to the observation area costs ¥570 for adults. If you’ve come all this way, it’s worth it as you get a much better view from the bottom. It wasn’t too crowded at the time of my at my visit in January, but could be during peak season. There are several places to eat and buy souvenirs on site, as well as many more along the street just outside. There is ample parking but bear in mind that it’ll cost you around ¥300.

It can be pretty cold and damp when you walk along the tunnel from the elevator to the observation deck so it’s very important that one should be careful. The observation deck has three floors which gives you different views of the falls.
