S	Siobhan Doyle on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hiked up here by chance in the spring and there was snow and ice covering the place! We did spot some monkeys a little downstream from the falls. Bus is very nearby and the hike up the river from lower down is very well kept. Good bit of mud tracked through lower down.

The scenery is beautiful, and there's outdoor seating available to eat your own food or get a bite from the take away shops selling traditional Japanese food.
J	Jacqueline wong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unexpected gem in Nikko. We almost give up as the parking fee is 500 (compulsory) . But the fall is stunning. U can walk really close and feel the water. A small hike for 5 mins can see the origin of the fall.

There is car parking next to it but we made the mistake of parking along the road and having to climb up and down a million steep steps, if youre keen on excercise this is your leg day. Theres an awesome and unique boardwalk that takea you on a loop around the park, depending on the route you take, times could vary. We went in winter so half the path was closed but we managed to do a small loop that took about 30minutes and we saw some smaller waterfalls and lakes.
