★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We showed up just as they were closing, and despite our lack of Japanese-language skills, they were nice enough to let us in out of the snow and make sure we got warm tea and warm food. The mushroom tempura udon and the yuba udon were delicious and the perfect end to our day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The proprietor lady was extremely helpful and friendly, taking us four gentlemen out of the cold and providing us delicious hot food. The food was simple but perfectly executed. My yuba soba soup was very good, the broth alone worth writing about. Do yourself a favor and eat here!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice little family run establishment. Very friendly owner, who gave us a great Soba meal and hot tea on a snowy day. I enjoyed every bite!
The owner speaks a little English, and we had no problem communicating what we wanted with her via a picture menu. Just don't go in there looking for ramen. Apparently others have, as she made it very clear up front that they only do soba and udon (and they do it very well).
