S	Sameera Fernando on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The almost 100 meter tall is the most famous waterfall. In fact, it is even ranked as one of Japan's three most beautiful. Wonderful place.

It costs approximately ¥570, if I remember correctly, for the elevator down to see the waterfall. You can, of course, see it without paying that fee but it's a different view. Both are worth it.

There are two observation areas: the upper deck, which is free, and the lower deck which requires an elevator ride to access. The elevator has a fee to ride. We felt the beautiful views were worth visiting the lower deck, which actually has multiple levels. The gift shops only take cash, so be sure to have some on hand.
M	Mostafa Elmankabady on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A breathtaking spot, I would have stayed there the whole day, even it was foggy and it was difficult to see the full view of the waterfall. You can see a complex of waterfalls and a nice running river in sunny day, also the best time to visit is during autumn, the colour mix of trees and waterfall is unmatched. You can enjoy the water fall for free from view point having 2 floors, or you can enjoy more realistic and more closer look if you go to the lower view point through elevator for about extra 500 yen if I still remember, this is also a great solution if you were unlucky and there was fog, you can check the live screen and go to the bottom view point to have a better view. Anyway, plan your trip well, and make sure that it is sunny at the waterfall area. Access: use bus from Nikko station, there is a good cheap full 2 day bus pass from Nikko station, don't miss it, you may some money.

Once you reached top buy ticket for 500 yen and they ll take you 100 meters down by lift to the view point. Very big falls and water force and noise was heavy. Better go in autumn to see colorful surroundings
