ある大晦日に夏井家で、温かいもてなしを受けた僧が、いかなる厄病からも免れるお札を残した。
 There was a site of the Natsui family in the Edo period. Now, it is "Kaze ni God" built in a corner of the site of the Yonezawa Prosecutor's Office.
On New Year's Eve, a monk who received warm hospitality at the Natsui family left a bill to avoid any illness.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ いつの頃かについて解説板に記載は無いが、夏井家が或るみすぼらしい僧を泊めてあげたら、その僧は「風の神」と名乗り、礼としてお札を渡した。堂を造ってそのお札を祀ったら夏井家の人々は流行病に患わずに済んだ。
明治39年に夏井家が堂とともに移転し、その夏井家の跡地に楠川良策医師が移り住んだ。そこで山羊を飼ったら楠川家の人々が熱病にかかった。占い師によると堂があった跡地が山羊で汚されたためとのこと。
この地を清めて新たに風の神の堂を明治41年に建立した。その堂がこれなのかな？
大根を供えて食べると風邪をひかないらしい。
