★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この香古寺は、香川県坂出市八幡町に位置します。ここは、宇多津町との境にあり、西側は前方後円墳である田尾茶臼山古墳が頂きにある。東側は瀬戸大橋高速道路が通っている。この寺は、小高い丘にあり、一見城郭風である。この寺の創建者は明治３３年坂出生まれで､粟浄敬上人と云う。昭和９年に現在地に龍渓山香古寺建立と云う、比較的新しい寺である。昭和５８年に亡くなられている。宗派は、単立(浄土真宗)である。現在、寺の入口付近に、寺の一部を仏樹園としている。
 This Kako Temple is located in Hachiman-cho, Sakaide City, Kagawa Prefecture. This is on the border with Utazu Town, and on the west side is the Tao Chausan Kofun, which is a front-rear burial mound. The Seto Ohashi Expressway runs on the east side. This temple is located on a small hill and looks like a castle at first glance. The founder of this temple was born in Sakaide in 1883 and is called Awajo Keijo. It is a relatively new temple that was built at the present location in 1934. He died in 1983. The sect is independent (Jodo Shinshu). Currently, a part of the temple is a Buddhist garden near the entrance of the temple.
