国の登録有形文化財に指定されている。
農道は中学生が登下校に使うことがあるので、見学の時は注意しよう。
An overpass of the Sanuki Railway, the predecessor of the JR Yosan Line, built in 1890.
It is designated as a national registered tangible cultural property.
The farm road may be used by junior high school students to go to and leave school, so be careful when visiting.

宇多津中学校の北側にあります。旧讃岐鉄道の施設。橋長５．９ｍ、単線仕様の小規模な石造単アーチ橋で、壁面は花崗岩布積、アーチは半円アーチとし、橋の両端には谷積の翼壁を設ける。讃岐鉄道竣工当時の遺構で、全国的にも類例の少ない純石造の鉄道構造物です。
"Utazu Town: Former Sanuki Railway Iwaya Overpass"
It is on the north side of Utazu Junior High School. Former Sanuki Railway facility. It is a small stone single arch bridge with a bridge length of 5.9 m and a single line specification. The walls are made of granite, the arches are semicircular arches, and the wing walls of valleys are provided at both ends of the bridge. It is a remains of the Sanuki Railway when it was completed, and it is a pure stone railway structure that is rare in Japan.
