大宮に用があったので、ランチ時間に合わせて調整し武蔵のうどんの有名店である駕籠休みで肉汁うどん 冷並 + かき揚げ天。 ちょっと早めのランチだったこともあり、待たずに入店。 注文はテーブルで行い、出来たうどんはテーブル番号を呼ばれるのでセルフで取りに行くスタイル。 勿論、食事後はセルフで片づける。 うどんは結構不揃いで幅広く、一本ずつ食べる位が丁度良い。 つけ汁は超アツアツでお椀を持つのも厳しい位で、結構好み。 麺は程よい歯応えで、つけ汁に入った肉とうどんを合わせながら食べると、何とも言えない旨さ。 かき揚げは衣と野菜が詰まって超ボリューミー。 天つゆもあるが、肉汁につけると少し衣が溶けだしてうどんが旨くなる。 満腹にもなり、久しぶりの肉汁うどんに満足。

久々の訪問。 あいかわらず並びます。 天ぷらすぐ終わります。 10時からオープンなので早めに来ないと食べれないものたくさん出てきます。 テレビにもたくさん出ているので人気店です。 注文してから早く出てきます。 野菜が店前で売ってますが、物によっては安いです。

開店前から長蛇の列!食べ終わって出ても行列が絶えず。さすがの人気店! 限定3食の580円の鰻丼のクオリティにはびっくり‼️2000円くらいしてもいんじゃないか?かなり美味しいし、ボリュームも⭕️ うどんもしっかりとした腰に小麦の良い香りも感じられる絶品! 行列も納得の肉汁うどんでした!

武蔵野うどんで有名店は藤店ですが、駕籠休みさんも、トップランクの武蔵野うどんです。 どんなうどん?と聞かれれば、藤店同様、手打ちの太い、コシと歯ごたえあるうどんで、コシと歯ごたえは藤店以上で、小麦の味がわかる、美味しいうどんです。 今回の小麦は、北海道で2週に1回、全国各地の小麦で練られたうどんを食べさせて頂きました。 前回は麺が売り切れで、細麺になってしまい、残念でしたが、今回は11時に並んだことから、美味しい太麺を頂くことができました。 最低でも11時には並びたいものですが、すでに売り切れのメニューもあったことから、開店時間(10時)に並んだほうがいいと思います。12時頃では、麺が売り切れになってしまいます。 さいたま新都心駅から歩いて10分程。 スタッフさん(男の方)もすごく親切丁寧に対応してくれるので、わからないことがあっても安心ですごく忙しそうなのに感じの良いスタッフさんです。 うどんや天ぷらなどもテイクアウト可能で、美味しそうな野菜や果物も販売しており、楽しいお店です。 とっても美味しいので、皆さんも訪れてみてください。

【注意:自転車・バイク駐輪場が無く、歩道に路駐すると近所の人が血相変えて店に怒鳴りこんでくる様子…すぐ北の大宮区役所の駐輪スペースを使わせて戴く位しか思いつきません。】 昼営業の間、行列がほぼ絶えない有名店。 店前やレジ前には野菜・果物が並び、食事ついでに買って帰る事もできます。 テーブル席や1人席のカウンターには番号が並び、料理が出来上がると番号を呼ばれるので受け取りに行く、セルフ方式です。 (お茶・冷水もセルフ、常に人が行き交うので激突注意) 只でも噛みごたえのしっかりした、武蔵野うどんの系統において、此方では有料で特盛(麺800g)までの増量が可能。 麺以外も具沢山であり、何なら別途天ぷらを増やす事もできて、大食漢でも充分に満足できるボリュームを誇ります。 初来訪にして月替りの1杯を頼んだのは邪道ですが、白味噌仕立てのかけ汁に負けない麺の味わいともっちり弾力は、それまで『ゴワゴワ加減が富士吉田うどんの下位互換』的な認識だった武蔵野うどんのイメージを、一変させるだけのインパクトがありました。 もしそれでもまだ満足できない欲張りさんが居るなら、開店前の列に並んででも、限定の丼もの各種を頂戴しましょう。 味変も行えるし、良い意味で値段に釣り合わないクオリティの味に出会えます。 画像は『ナイアガラ』なる商品ですが、垂れ下がる肉の滝の甘味が素晴らしい…同じ値段で牛丼屋の並盛りなんて食えなくなる旨さは、感動の一言。 支払う以上の価値が常にそこにある、紛う事なき銘店です。 これで更に産地の異なる5種の小麦粉を使い分け、水も名水を毎週汲みに行くというのですから、次回はどんな驚きがある事やら…楽しみが尽きません。

職場でうどんをテイクアウトしいただきました。私は、「なす汁うどん大盛り」900円。うどんの麺は、コシが強くしっかりしていて、モチモチの太麺で、いかにも武蔵野うどんの王道にふさわしく食べ応え満点です。汁は、何とも言えない風味と甘じょっばさで、テイクアウトとは思えない温かさと風味です。具のナス、油揚げ、きのこがたっぷり入っていて、麺と絡めてワシワシ食べるととてもシアワセな気分になりました。いつも店先にお客さんが並んでいて中々入るのに躊躇しますが、並んで食べる価値があるうどんです。
